Allan Wilson has been involved in the music recording industry since 1982, orchestrating and conducting scores mainly for Film & Television.  Having studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London he went on to teach conducting and orchestral training at the State University of New York where he was awarded a Master of Music degree.  He has given many lecture recitals in Britain, the USA and Canada and has appeared many times as a trumpet player in leading concert halls and other venues. Allan has an international reputation as a specialist studio conductor, orchestrator and arranger working regularly for producers and studios from both sides of the Atlantic in London, Bratislava, Munich, Berlin, Budapest and Prague for composers such as Christopher Young, Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino, Graeme Revell, John Frizzell, Richard Hartley, Ed Shearmur, Marco Beltrami, Robert Folk, Christopher Lennertz, Tyler Bates, Colin Towns, Christophe Beck and Mark Isham to name but a few. Allan also conducted the music for the Doha 2006 Asian Games and is probably one of the most prolific studio conductors in Europe if not the world. He regularly records with the Philharmonia in London and was their guest conductor for a festival concert in Abu Dhabi in January 2009.
